Donna Scultura 2011 Sculpture is Woman in Pietrasanta.

Donna Scultura 2011 Sculpture is Woman in Pietrasanta.

Four sculptors converge on Pietrasanta for the IX annual “Donna Scultura” exhibit in the Church of Sant’Agostino, one of the most stunning showcases for art in all of Italy. Stefania Brandinelli, Veronica Fonzo, Almuth Tebbenhoff, and Maja Thommen, each bring to life their unique visions – in an ode to sculpture in the feminine tense, in the center of Pietrasanta, starting February 12th and continuing until March 13th, 2011. The exhibit is produced by Valentina Fogher and Chiara Celli for the Assessorato alla Cultura e alle Pari Opportunitá of the Comune di Pietrasanta.
This is a sculpture event that’s powerful, made in Italy, and we believe … it’ll blow your mind.
Exhibit hours are from 4pm to 7pm everyday except monday, the entrance is free.

  1. Hmm is anyone else encountering problems with the images
on this blog loading? I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    • Hello Fidelpowe, yes… we’ve heard that there’s problems loading the images on the blog, and are trying to figure it out… what we’ve understood as of now is that browsers “balk” at loading more than a few larger images, so we’ve cut the number of posts displayed to 20… but that seems not to improve image loading on all browsers… Soo, first of all, thank you for alerting us, we’re going to reduce further the number of posts… and we’ll keep looking into the issue. If you, or anyone out there reading this has an idea, PLEASE feel free to let us know. THANKS again, : D

We encourage you to let us know what you think! Fateci sapere cosa ne pensate!
