Eugenio Riotto’s “Amanti Alati” bronze sculpture to grace the Parco Internazionale di Scultura di Pietrasanta.

The two-plus-meter high bronze “Winged Lovers” by the sicilian artist Eugenio Riotto will be put on permanent display April 7th, in what is a sprawling and impressive collection of bronze and marble sculptures in Pietrasanta’s outdoor Parco Internazionale di Scultura. We’ll have to devote another post to the Park as it’s a remarkable collection of artwork in public spaces… but we encourage you to take a peek at the Museo dei Bozzetti page on the Park!

The “Amanti Alati” which was cast in the Fonderia Artistica Versiliese will be placed on Via Oberdan, near the Istituto bancario, and Riotto’s generous gift to the people of Pietrasanta and the whole Versila area will coincide with a one-man-exhibition of Riotto’s work at the Spazio Open One, on Via Aurelia Sud.
