“Inside Out » Act 1” proposes to mix sculpture, painting, new media with high-end Italian Design at a show at the Piazzetta in Forte dei Marmi. The exhibition, styled a “continuous dialog” between Art and Design, is produced by GIGLIO ARTE in collaboration with Rugiano Arredamenti and Spirale Milano.
The high-end furnishings by Rugiano Arredi are meant to work within the space, but also to dialog with the art. Andy Warhol opens the event with Mimmo Rotella – who, because of his Pop use of torn film posters is known as the “italian Andy Warhol.” Sculptor Helidon Xhixha works with monumental steel pieces, which he works by machine, Michele Chiossi is a sculptor who prefers working in marble together with other materials, like steel, and neon, and Blue and Joy produce works straddling street art and digital communication.
