Some two hundred years after its birth the photographic medium finds itself in somewhat of a tight spot as it teeters between visionary re-invention and bland photoshoppery… The Garage Bonci devotes its second ambitious exhibition – called “Collettiva #1, Garage con Vista – Shots for a Contemporary View” to the photographic vision of eight photographers – who, freed from curatorial constraints, contribute their own very unique visions of the world to the exhibition.
Emili Bermùdez, Elisa Bresciani, Geoff Dunlop, Eamonn Farrell, Nicolò Quirico, Giovanni Ricci-Novara, Anna Turina, and Allison Welch are featured in a show that promises to celebrate eight individual – if sometimes even contradictory points of view.
The opening is Friday, December 7th at 5:30pm.
