La Notte dei Musei, is a European-wide initiative to open Museum spaces to the public, in the evening – and for free. Pietrasanta’s Museo dei Bozzetti will participate in this year’s night-time art event as well, with “Bozzetti al chiaro di luna” (plaster models – or maquettes – by the light of the moon).

The event happens this Saturday, the 18th of May, 2013, from 9pm to midnight, in the Chiostro of Sant’Agostino in Pietrasanta, the picturesque home of the Museum.

There will be guided tours of the MdB’s extensive collection of plaster models, and surprises – musical performances, and virtual encounters – for the whole family.
Visit the Museum’s webpage for more information and to see some of the models on display – linked here.
