“Terre Silenziose” – Luciano Massari’s sculpture exhibition kicks off Carrara Marble Weeks, 2013

Carrara Marble Weeks is an annual Fair/Convention for the exploration and promotion of Carrara’s fabled marble culture. It takes over the historic center of the “world capital of marble” and features, events, exhibitions, shows, and conferences. It’s a multi-faceted and rich art festival. We link to the full “PROGRAMMA” here.

Luciano Massari’s one-man-show “Terre Silenziose” (Silent Earths) happens concurrently with Carrara Marble Weeks, 2013. The exhibition is curated by Marco Senaldi, and the opening reception is tomorrow, at 6pm in the first floor of the Palazzo Binelli, in Carrara.

Abel Herrero, a Cuban painter and sculptor, exhibits “Paradise” at the Liceo Artistico A. Gentileschi, Via Sarteschi 1, in Carrara.

The first show – a performance by the Flying Hands Circus – is scheduled for the opening ceremonies – which takes place tomorrow evening, Friday the 28th of June, 2013.

The opening reception is Friday, the 28th of June, 2013, at 6pm and 9:30pm
