We post pictures from English photographer Henryk Hetflaisz’s photography exhibition documenting the “Artigiani” of Pietrasanta, which is currently underway in the city’s main Piazza. The city of Pietrasanta is known as “Italy’s Little Athens” for its art life and artisanal know-how. Artists from all over the world come to to develop and execute their artistic visions in the many studios and workshops in the Tuscan city. The artists work with and rely on the artigiani for their wisdom and talent, in the sculpture studios, the bronze foundries, the mosaic and ceramics laboratories.
We post photos taken by Henryk Hetflaisz in the city’s mold-making studios.
