“Crossover” beyond the boundries of genre and material at Pietrasanta’s Art Garage, the opening reception is tonight!

The Garage Bonci, Pietrasanta’s contemporary art venue housed in an old garage, experiments with crossing the boundries of genre – painting, sculpture and photography – looking for what’s in the spaces between the categories.

The exhibition, called “Crossover,” features eight contemporary artists, and we link to their websites (or other sites) where you can see more of their work and find out more information.

They are:

Horst Beyer,

Sandro del Pistoia,

Patricia Glauser,

Giovanni Lamberti-Le Rond,

Laura Piacquadio,

Studio Radar,

Annalisa Venturini,

and Tatiana Villani.

The exhibition sets out to chart space; the space-relationships in each artist’s work and the physical space, visual, and tactile, that involves the spectator in various visual and expressive “channels.” It’s a multi-media discourse which engages – metaphorically, but also physically with the visitor.

Visit Garage Bonci’s website, for more information, linked here.

The opening is this Saturday, the 10th of August, at 7pm.
