“Pietrasanta Embroiders” celebrates friendship, creativity and tradition at the Sala Grasce

Pietrasanta-Ricama

Embroidery is more than a pastime in the City of Art. It’s … well, … ART! An art passed down from generation to generation; an art that needs only a needle and thread, and patience to “happen”- and a group of friends are showing their embroidery handy-work during the month of October in the Sala Grasce as part of “Pietrasanta Ricama.”

The opening reception is Friday, the 4th of October, 2013, at 4pm.

The exhibition is curated by Emanuela Marchesini and is produced by the Comune of Pietrasanta.

  1. Wish I were there. Australia’s just a little too far to come. The exhibitions look exciting, the promotion of local artists is inspiring and the generous, laid-back mood of the blog means I’m happy to keep following. Keep up the good work.
