“Figlie dell’Iran – Parvin and other stories of women.”
Reza Olia, the author presents her book at the
Chiostro of Sant’Agostino
Saturday, the 12th of October, 2013 at 5pm.
Stories of women in Iran today. Reza Olia presents her latest book with which she hopes to shine a ray of light in the darkness of the information coming out of Iran on the condition of its people – especially the women. Olia has interviewed Iranian women who’ve escaped to Italy, in France and to other countries, and who’ve re-started their lives after suffering through – and surviving – political imprisonment, torture and violence of all kinds. The book presentation happens this Saturday and the author will be interviewed by Donatella Francesconi, an Italian journalist. Also present will be Pietrasanta’s Mayor, Domenico Lombardi and Giuliano Rebechi, President of the “Rolando Cecchi Pandolfini” Association, the event co-sponsor.
