Ron English paints a mural at the Quadraro in Rome

Ron English, who some call the “Warhol” of street art has put the finishing touches on his wall piece at the Quadraro in Rome. In it one can see many of the icons dear to the Pop surrealist’s heart: there’s “Baby Hulk” a figure that, according to the artist “brings together strength and immaturity, like a two year old baby,” and there’s Mickey Mouse, in the detail above, fighting the good fight – against the food and tobacco multinationals.

A program detailing the artwork will be shown on Italian “Sky Arte” but is visible now, on Via Pisoni, in Rome. The project is produced by Rome’s M.U.Ro, Museo Urban.
