“Riflessi di Pietre e Bronzi” (Reflections in Stone and Bronzes) is the title of the Veronese sculptor’s one-person-exhibition which starts today at the Sala Grasce, in the Complex of Sant’Agostino, in Pietrasanta.
Achille Costi’s background in architecture shows through in his sculptures. They appear to emerge … built-up, lines and volumes twisting and rising, defining a space that echoes the natural rhythms of nature, rhythms which for Costi “render visible that which is invisible, perceptible the complementary and transparent form that traces each sinuous curve of the work.”
The exhibition is curated by Giuseppe Cordoni.
The opening reception is tonight, the 26th of October, 2013, at 4pm.
