Dreamscapes and curious personages feature prominently in the work of local artist Gian Paolo Giovanetti, who kicks off Pietrasanta’s 2014 art season with “Chrome Transactions” his one-person exhibition at the Sala Grasce in Pietrasanta. His visionary world is tied to the Versilia, his themes are the quarries, foxes, eroded walls, and the landscapes of the foothills of the Apuan Alps, in Tuscany.
Gian Paolo Giovanetti studied at the Istituto d’Arte di Pietrasanta and at the Accademia in Carrara.
