“ANTEPRIME,” Pietrasanta’s literary festival of writers and their new books returns with much anticipation – and a change of venue

Anteprime-2014-Pietrasanta

“ANTEPRIME” (Previews) is a very special event: it features authors – alongside their editors – presenting their new literary works on a stage, in front of a live audience… But this year the event changes venues and takes place over at the La Versiliana stage. Offering palpable relief to many, and after months of uncertainty, the Comune di Pietrasanta has confirmed that the new edition of the festival will indeed take place.

The three-day event has featured an impressive roster of writers and has been a huge success for the City of Art. The change in venue will allow the city to keep costs low by using the existing infrastructure at La Versiliana – and this will also mean that more people will get a chance to attend: there’s a total of 1500 seats at the Teatro, 500 at the Spazio Caffe, 400 over at the Fabbrica dei Pinoli, and 200 at the Spazio Bambini.

The full program has not been finalized as of yet… stay tuned, here, or over at the La Versiliana website, linked here.

Domenico Lombardi, Pietrasanta’s Mayor worked hard over the last months to make “ANTEPRIME 2014” happen… kudos to him, and to Dianora Poletti, the President, and Manrico Nicolai, Director of the La Versiliana.
