“Mood not me” – Silvia Celeste Calcagno’s exploration of the body, and femininity in – videoart, ceramics and installations – at the PH Neutro Gallery, in Pietrasanta

UPDATE: The title of the exhibition has been changed to “Mood not me.”

“not me” … Silvia Celeste Calcagno’s journey to/through the body, and her exploration of the feminine has yielded a multiform, provocative … and fascinating body of work. PH Neutro, a gallery specializing in fine art photography hosts the artist’s video-art, ceramics and installation work – from June 14th, to the 4th of July, 2014.

There is a book-signing/reception on Saturday, the 14th of June, 2014 at 6pm.

Silvia Celeste Calcagno upturns Pirandello’s “One, none, one-hundred-thousand” … she pushes the point that the final doubt, at the end of a long journey, is that these “ones” and “100,000” don’t exist – and are in fact, potentially “no-ones.”

The show is curated by Luca Beatrice.

Visit the artist’s webpage, for more cool art, linked here. And connect with her on FB… linked here.

And look into PH Neutro… they have a wonderful collection of fine art photography, and a bold curatorial stance… their website is linked here.
