Sphynx-China-Copy

Chinese knock-off are famous throughout the world. Not only cellphones, or Designer fashion, but also works of art and architecture, like the belltower of San Marco in Venice, whole villages in the Province region of France, the Royal Palace of Versailles – and now, replete with broken nose, is the Giza Sphinx’s turn to get cloned.

The 20-meter tall and 60meter long mythological figure took only three months to complete. The cost for the copy, an affordable $800,000.

The monument is located in the village of Donggou, and is already a hit with tourists.
