There are a few days left yo visit Joseph Sheppard’s haunting “The Horrors of War” exhibition in Pietrasanta. The exhibition, features paintings and drawings; it traces some of the most (in)famous massacres of WW II. It is a sad ode to human cruelty.
From top to bottom: Massacre of Sant’Anna di Stazzema, The Firebombing of Dresden, The Bataan Death March, and the Katyn Massacre. The photos of Joseph Sheppard’s works, reproduced here, are featured in the catalog accompanying the exhibition, which is produced bt Grafiche Gelli, Florence.
